Tom Blum is a skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in electric propulsion systems and mechanical design. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at ZeroAvia since April 2022, Tom previously held positions as a Project Engineer at Davinci Engineering & Consulting, LLC and Seven Marine, LLC, where notable contributions included being part of the original design and development team for the most powerful outboard motor. Additionally, Tom co-owns and administers a small art business, Art on Artesia, while maintaining a background in product design from roles at Mercury Marine and Brooks Stevens, Inc. Educational qualifications include a Continuing Education degree in Mechanical Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering and an Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Design from Moraine Park Technical College. Tom also served in the US Army as Military Police/Intelligence and received an honorable discharge.
