Gitte Livbjerg serves as the Head of Fuel Concepts at Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping since August 2023. Prior to this role, Gitte held multiple leadership positions at TotalEnergies from March 2018 to July 2023, including Head of GPI Denmark and Head of Support & Planning. Gitte's experience in the energy sector extends back to Maersk Oil, where roles included Programme Manager and Reservoir Manager from July 2011 to March 2018. Gitte's earlier career includes a position as Reservoir Engineer at Chevron from February 2004 to January 2011 and various engineering roles at Maersk Oil from March 2000 to December 2003. Gitte Livbjerg holds a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, completed in 2000.
