Mads Martinsen

Mads Martinsen is an experienced professional in the maritime and shipping industry, currently serving as Fleet Performance and Transformation Manager at the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping since February 2023. Prior to this role, Mads held various positions at Maersk Line Fleet Management & Technology, including Senior Decarbonization Integration Manager, Team Manager, and Vessel Performance Analyst from September 2016 to February 2023. Mads began a career in the industry as a Student Assistant at J. Lauritzen A/S, where responsibilities included developing reporting procedures and monitoring systems for ship main engine performance. Mads’ educational background includes a Master of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Maritime Studies from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, along with prior military training at Hærens Sergentskole.
