Susana Germino

Susana Germino is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability and maritime operations. Currently serving as the Chief Sustainability & Energy Transition Officer and GM Sustainability & Decarbonisation at Swire Shipping since February 2022, and GM Sustainability & Decarbonisation at Swire Bulk since November 2022, Germino is also an R&D Advisory Board Member at the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping. Previously, Germino held the position of CEO at PT Mitrabahtera Segara Sejati Tbk, leading energy shipping operations in Indonesia, and served as General Manager at The China Navigation Company and Steamships Shipping, both members of the Swire Group. With a solid foundation in naval engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and advanced management training from INSEAD, Germino has held various significant roles in the maritime sector since beginning a career as a Naval Engineer in 1999.
