Karl Thorngren

Karl Thorngren has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Karl is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at ZeroNorth since 2022. Prior to this, they were the Business Owner, Investor, and Board member at Hästdala Gård, NP Nilsson from 2021 onwards. From 2019 to 2021, Karl worked as the CFO and part of the Senior Management Team at Maersk Supply Service, where they were responsible for Finance, Procurement, IT, Treasury, Tax, and Financial Planning. Karl also served as the CFO at Svitzer Australia from 2016 to 2019 and as a Board member at Bowen Towage Services, Riverwijs, Svitzer Australia Pty Ltd during the same period. Karl was the Chairman of the Board at Star Air from 2014 to 2016. Before that, they held multiple roles at Maersk Group, including Interim Head of Group Strategy, Head of M&A and Projects (Vice President), and Interim Head of Group Strategy. Additionally, they served as a Board member at ESVAGT A/S from 2014 to 2015. Karl's career also includes working as the Senior Vice President M&A at Posten AB from 2007 to 2010 and as a Vice President at Castlegreen Partners LLP from 2005 to 2007.

Karl Thorngren completed their M Sc in Accounting and Finance from Stockholm School of Economics from 1994 to 1998. Karl then pursued a M Sc (CEMS) in Management & Finance from University of St.Gallen from 1998 to 1999. Prior to that, they studied Philosophy at Lund University from 1992 to 1993.
