Lauréanne Appel has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Lauréanne is currently working at ZeroNorth as a Lead Software Engineer since January 2020. Prior to that, they were employed at Det Kgl. Bibliotek as a Team Leader IT Development from November 2016 to January 2020. Lauréanne also worked at DMI as a Web Developer from September 2011 to November 2016. Before that, they were a Senior Software Developer at NDS, where they led the development of a prototype for an interactive TV magazine. Lauréanne had the opportunity to present this project at important conferences and to key customers globally. Lauréanne began their career as a Software Engineer in cryptography at the Ministry of Defence of France from February 2003 to March 2004. Before that, they worked at Oberthur Card Systems as a Software Engineer in cryptography, where they designed and coded cryptographic functions for smart cards used in GSM and banking. Lauréanne also focused on protecting smart cards against side channel and fault attacks.
Lauréanne Appel obtained a Masters degree in Mathematics and cryptography from Aix-Marseille University, completing their education from 1997 to 2002.
