Gualtiero Fantoni

Gualtiero Fantoni has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Gualtiero started their career in 2005 as an Assistant Professor at the University of Pisa, where they later became an Associate Professor and received their Ph.D. In 2008, they became a Partner at Erre Quadro S.r.l. and also founded their own company, FabLab Pisa. Gualtiero has been involved in various research and development projects, including as a Research Affiliate at the Centro Interdipartimentale di Ricerca "E. Piaggio" and a Research Associate at Consorzio Quinn. In 2015, they co-founded Zerynth, where they served as a 4.0 Systems/Business Development Advisor. Gualtiero also joined TOI - Things On Internet in 2016 as a 4.0 Product & System Designer. Recently, Gualtiero became a Partner at Gate SPA and founded Beam Me Up, a spin-off company of the University of Pisa in 2021.
