Dario Vegetti

Dario Vegetti has a diverse work experience in the agricultural and fresh produce industry. Dario began their career with an internship at Agribologna in 2007. Dario then interned at Chiquita in 2010 and later had an internship at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in 2011.

In 2012, Dario joined RK Growers Srl, where they worked as an Overseas Sales Manager. In this role, they managed the entire sales process, including customer requirement analysis, price negotiation, supply chain management, export documentation supervision, and claim management. Dario focused on developing accounts in Asian and North American markets and worked on new project development.

Since 2015, Dario has been with Zespri International. Dario started as a Supply Chain Commercial Analyst and later progressed to the position of Supply Chain Manager. Currently, they serve as the Head of European Supply, overseeing the supply chain operations for the European market.

Dario Vegetti received a B.Sc. in Tecnologie delle produzioni vegetali from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna in 2009. Dario then pursued an M.Sc. in International Horticulture from both Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, completing their degree in 2012. Their focus areas of study included Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Soil Chemistry, Plant Breeding, Horticulture, Arable crops, Tropical Horticulture, Environmentally Friendly Plant Nutrition, Food Marketing, and Agricultural Policies.
