Rafeeq Salie

Rafeeq Salie is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the power and mechanical engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Proposals Sales Engineer at WEG Africa since October 2024, Rafeeq previously held various roles at SGB-SMIT POWER MATLA, culminating in the position of Engineering Manager. In this capacity, Rafeeq led the Engineering department and was integral to sales, supply chain, and production processes. With a strong educational background, including a BTech and National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Rafeeq has developed expertise in mechanical design, project management, and technical sales, and has successfully completed a mechanical designer development program in an accelerated timeframe.
