Ghazaleh T. has a diverse work experience in the field of computer vision. They began their career as an intern at Shahid Beheshti University in 2019. They then worked as a student research assistant at Concordia University, where they studied vision-based human activity recognition methods.
In 2020, Ghazaleh joined Hydro Québec as a Mitacs Accelerate Intern, where they applied computer vision and 3D convolutional neural networks for activity recognition of construction workers. They also implemented state-of-the-art object detection methods and tracking algorithms to detect and track workers in surveillance videos from a real construction site.
In 2022, Ghazaleh joined Leav as a Computer Vision Engineer, where they developed and trained action recognition models to identify key actions of customers in stores. They also worked as a part-time Junior Computer Vision Engineer during this time.
Currently, Ghazaleh is working as a Data Scientist - Computer Vision at ZestyAI, starting from 2023.
Ghazaleh T. completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology-Tehran Polytechnic between 2014 and 2019. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Concordia University from 2020 to 2022.
In terms of additional certifications, Ghazaleh obtained the "Introduction to GPU Programming with Python" certification from Calcul Québec in November 2021. Ghazaleh also participated in the "Kickstart 2021" program conducted by the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii) in March 2021. Ghazaleh has further acquired the "Serverless Data Processing with Dataflow: Foundations" certification from the Google Cloud Skills Boost in March 2023.
Although an entry is mentioned for the "CIFAR Deep Learning + Reinforcement Learning Summer School" certification, specific details regarding the obtained month and year are not provided.
