Amenata Magiraga

Amenata is a Bronx native who spent a significant portion of her childhood growing up in Harlem. She enjoyed playing teacher with her siblings as a child, so it’s no surprise to anyone that knows her that she is now an educator! Amenata graduated from SUNY College of Old Westbury and worked at Success Academy Charter Schools for five years before joining Zeta Charter Schools. At Success, Amenata taught ELA and History to 5-7th graders and served as a Grade Team Lead before becoming Assistant Principal.
