Ariana McLain has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles.
Ariana began their career in 2011 as a Teaching Assistant in the Linguistics Department at Bucknell University.
In 2012, they interned at both the John Hancock Life Insurance Company (U.S.A.) and the Undergraduate Executive Internship Program, where they held roles as a Funds Intern and Executive Intern, respectively.
Ariana then joined Teach For America in 2013 as a Corps Member, and during their two-year tenure, they served as a classroom teacher.
In 2013, they transitioned to Ascend Public Charter Schools, where they held various roles, including Talent Recruitment Manager (Part-Time), Grade-Level Team Leader, and Classroom Teacher.
Ariana then moved on to Success Academy Charter Schools in 2018, where they initially served as an Assistant Principal before being promoted to School Principal in 2019.
Currently, Ariana is working at Zeta Charter Schools, where they hold the position of Associate Director of Talent and has recently been promoted to Director of Talent.
Ariana McLain completed their Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) in Childhood Education at Relay Graduate School of Education from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Bucknell University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Before college, Ariana attended The Governor's Academy from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained a certification in Coaching for Results from LinkedIn.
