Thomas Van Tongerloo has a diverse work experience in the field of information security. Thomas started their career as a Freelance Pentester at VirtuaX Security from 2002 to 2007. Thomas then worked at K.U.Leuven as an Architect for a short period in 2011. Following that, they joined IBM and served in various roles including Threat Information Analyst, SIEM Admin, and Security Correlation Engineer from 2011 to 2015. Thomas then moved to HP, where they worked as a Security Consultant, specializing in Penetration Testing and Threat and Vulnerability Management from 2015 to 2017. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Zetes, where they are responsible for ensuring the security of the company's supply chain and people identification solutions.
Thomas Van Tongerloo completed their Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Computer Science at Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven from 2007 to 2013. In 2009, they also pursued a course in Computer Forensics & Network Security at 4n6 Network Security IP.
