George Holt

George Holt has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. George worked at Zetifi as a Compliance Manager and Project Manager starting in 2021. Prior to that, they spent a significant portion of their career at TAFE NSW, starting in 2008 as a Head Teacher of Information Technology (IT), and later becoming the R/Manager of New Learning Technologies from 2012 to 2013. Before joining TAFE NSW, George was involved in the management of their family farm, Riverdale, since 1982. In terms of conferences and presentations, George presented at the eLearning Conference: Mediterranean MoodleMoot in Tunisia in 2013 and the Moodlemoot AU 2013 Conference. George also served as a co-leader of the Head of Department Forum in 2011 and was a project team member for the 2011 Business Plan Item, focusing on extending pathways for TAFE students. Additionally, they worked at the TAFE NSW Riverina Institute as a Project Manager for the ICT Conference in 2007 and 2008. George also held the roles of Discipline Mentor for Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) and R/Head of studies for Business, Arts, and Information technology (BAIT). Before joining TAFE NSW, George worked as a Teacher of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) and Business (Frontline Management) at TAFE NSW Riverina Institute. George also gained experience as an IT Support professional at Tumut Shire Council.

George Holt has a diverse education history that encompasses various fields of study. George first attended Gundagai High School from 1975 to 1981, where they did not obtain any specific degree or field of study. However, their educational journey continued at Charles Sturt University, where they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Applied Science (Information Technology) from 1995 to 1996. Following that, George attended Charles Sturt University again from 2000 to 2002 and obtained a Bachelor of Vocational Education and Training with a focus on Education.

In 2004 to 2006, George studied at TAFE NSW Riverina Institute and earned a Diploma of Business (Frontline management) concentrating on Business Administration and Management. Continuing their education, they attended TAFENSW Riverina Institute in 2007 and completed a TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, specializing in Education.

Later, in 2013, George attended Fortress Learning and acquired a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, focusing on Vocational Education.

George Holt also holds certifications from professional associations. George is a member of the Australian Computer Society (ACS) and the Australian Information Security Association (AISA), though the specific obtained dates for these certifications are not provided.
