Simon Bækgaard

Simon Bækgaard is a Forlagskoordinator at Zetland since December 2021, responsible for creating books based on the writings of others. As a feature writer, Simon covers technology and international politics with a focus on AI, producing stories in text and audio formats. Previously, Simon served as a journalist and morning host for Zetland, where the morning briefing and occasional hosting of the daily news podcast Helikopter were key responsibilities. Prior experience includes an internship at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation focusing on fact-checking, a role as a music critic for Soundvenue, and various journalistic tasks at RÆSON. Simon also contributed to data analysis and meeting preparations at Aarhus University and provided tutoring in mathematics. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Journalism and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Aarhus University, as well as a studentereksamen from Sankt Annæ Gymnasium.
