Principal Engineer at Zetron

Goson Gu started their work experience in 1993 as a Staff Engineer at Summit Design, where they designed an optimal frequency planning system for the SkyPix, which was the first digital satellite video broadcast system in the U.S. Later, they worked at Zetron as a DSP Engineer from 1998 to 2013, where they implemented DSP functions, designed digital modems, and optimized speech codecs/vocoders. Goson then became a Principal Engineer at Zetron in 2014, where they implemented MCPTT and IMS authentication algorithms, investigated Push-To-Talk over Cellular systems, and implemented HD voice and H.

Goson Gu received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electronics Engineering from National Chiao Tung University, where they studied from 1980 to 1984. Goson later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering at the University of Washington from 1986 to 1993.
