JoAnne Guarino has a lengthy career in the tech and medical industries. JoAnne began their career in 1981 as the Chief Executive Officer of Softpoint Data Systems, Inc., where they developed software systems for the medical industry utilizing personal computers, and developed the first electronic medical claims submission system for healthcare claims, replacing paper claims. In 1999, they became Senior Vice President of udate, where they were responsible for setting up US operations of the London-based online dating company. udate was later sold to Match.com. In 2002, they joined TL Power Associates as Senior Vice President, where they assisted private investors in researching potential investments in the high tech industry and assisted in deal negotiations. In 2004, they became Executive Administrator of Vien & Laser Centers, where they were responsible for operations and growth strategy for the surgical/medical aesthetics business. Finally, in 2008, they became COO of ZetroZ, LLC, where they developed and marketed wearable medical devices which delivered sustained acoustic medicine, using continuous ultrasonic waves to relieve pain, increase circulation, and speed recovery of muscular skeletal conditions.

JoAnne Guarino has a Clinical Certification from Harvard Medical School in Mind Body Medicine. JoAnne also holds an Executive Leadership Program Certificate from the MIT Sloan School of Management and has completed a course in Business Administration from SHK.
