Melvilyn Edwards has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Melvilyn is currently working at Zeus Industrial Products, Inc. as the Senior Director of Human Resources for Zeus Polymer Solutions. Previously, they held the position of Director of Human Resources for the same company.

Prior to joining Zeus Industrial Products, Inc., Melvilyn worked at Duke Energy Corporation, holding various positions throughout their tenure. Melvilyn served as the Director of HR Business Partners for the Generation & Transmission division, leading a team of HR leaders and business partners to support over 11,000 employees. Melvilyn also held roles as Director of Employee Relations & HR Consulting Services, Director of HR Business Partners for Distribution, and Manager of HR Business Partners, all involving providing executive-level consultation and developing HR strategies to support business objectives.

Earlier in their career, Melvilyn gained experience at Tyco Healthcare, where they were promoted from Production Supervisor to Production Superintendent. Melvilyn also worked at Corning Incorporated, progressing from a Production Team Facilitator to a Senior Engineer. Melvilyn'sfirst professional role was at Milliken & Company as a Process Engineer, where they were later promoted to Process Improvement Leader.

Melvilyn Edwards, MHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina. Melvilyn furthered their education at the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business, where they obtained a Master’s Degree in Human Resources. In addition to their academic achievements, Melvilyn has obtained certification in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education. Melvilyn is also a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) by HRCI and holds the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM.
