Alberto Torregroza

Alberto Torregroza has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and development. Alberto started their career in 1990 as a Scientist II at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics and worked there for 12 years. In 2002, they joined Zeus Scientific, Inc as a Scientist - R&D, where they led the development of various assays including a 25-OH Vitamin D ELISA Assay, an HIV-1 test, and a Celiac Test. Alberto worked at Zeus Scientific until 2013. In 2014, they joined ZEUS Scientific as a Tissue Culture Production Laboratory Support, where they manufactured Hep-2 cells IFA slides and sub products. Alberto then transitioned to the role of Sr. Technical Support Representative, where they evaluated and tested products returned by customers and provided support to other team members. In 2018, they were promoted to the role of Senior Scientist in Research and Development at ZEUS Scientific, where they currently work.

Alberto Torregroza received their Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy-Chemistry from the Universidad del Atlántico, where they studied from 1976 to 1983.
