Dr.-Ing. Syed Saqib Bukhari

Dr.-Ing. Syed Saqib Bukhari is a Chief AI Engineer at ZF Group since September 2019, with a previous role as Senior Algorithm Engineer in AI & Machine Learning. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Researcher at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) from January 2015 to June 2019, and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Kaiserslautern, where specialized courses in Document and Content Analysis were taught. Additional teaching roles at The German University in Cairo and a background in research and engineering, including positions at Insiders Technologies GmbH and NEC Electronics, demonstrate a strong expertise in computer vision, document image analysis, and artificial intelligence. Dr. Bukhari holds a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from NED University of Engineering and Technology in Computer Systems Engineering.
