Saira Price

Saira Price has extensive work experience in the events and travel industry. Saira worked as a Project Director for BCD Meetings & Events starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were a Freelance Senior Event Manager from 2022 to 2023, where they led luxury automotive training programs and global summits for a leading tech company. Saira also provided event support in various roles such as Venue Manager and Lead Delegate Manager.

From 2015 to 2022, Saira worked at Ashfield Event Experiences in multiple roles. Saira started as an Operations Manager, overseeing the finance support department. Saira then became an Account Manager, managing client accounts and driving business development. Later, they were promoted to Senior Account Manager, where they continued to uphold high standards in client delivery and managed client strategy.

Before Ashfield, Saira worked at De Vere Solutions from 2008 to 2015. Saira started as a Sales & Central RFP Consultant and progressed to the role of Senior Consultant. Saira then became a Team Leader, supervising multiple sales teams and supporting the Operations Manager and Director.

Their earlier experience includes working as a Business Travel Consultant at Carlson Wagonlit Travel and Portman in 2008 and 2006 respectively. Overall, Saira brings a diverse range of experiences in event management, account management, and team leadership to their current role as Project Director at BCD Meetings & Events.

Saira Price obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from the University of Northampton in 2012. Saira then pursued a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts: Musical Theatre from Northampton College from 2004 to 2006. Currently, Saira is enrolled in a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Forensic Psychology at The Open University, which they started in 2018 and is expected to complete in 2024. Additionally, Saira has completed several certifications including "Climate Change for Event Organisers" from Private Goodness in 2023, "PowerPoint Design" from Media Training Ltd in 2022, "Emotional Intelligence at Work" from Coventry University in 2022, "HR Fundamentals," "Inclusive Management and Leadership Skills," and "People Management Skills" from CIPD in 2022, as well as "Level 3 Leadership and Management" from ILM in 2015.
