Julie Klear has extensive work experience in various creative and educational roles. Julie co-founded and served as the Chief Product Officer at Zid Zid starting from June 2016. Prior to this, they worked as the Co-Founder and Creative Director at Zid Zid Kids from October 2003 to June 2016. Julie also worked at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston as a Museum Teacher for the Children's Room Program from June 1999 to April 2001, where they interacted with children and conducted art projects based on specific artworks. In addition, they worked as a University Foundations Professor at Bowling Green State University from September 1998 to May 1999, where they focused on developing young art students' skills and introducing them to various artists and approaches to art. Julie also gained experience as a Fine Art Print Handler and Cataloger at the Toledo Museum of Art from January 1998 to April 1999. Julie began their career as an Early Education Teacher at Dr. Michel Cohen/Tribeca Pediatrics from August 1996 to June 1997, where they created an engaging early education curriculum and led art activities, music, movement, cooking, reading, and field trips for a small group of children.

Julie Klear has a diverse education history with a focus on early childhood education and teaching. Julie attended the Harvard Graduate School of Education for an unspecified period, where they studied early childhood education and teaching. Additionally, they pursued a Masters degree in Drawing and Fine Arts from Bowling Green State University from 1997 to 1999. In 1998, they participated in a Summer Studies Abroad program at Jagiellonian University, where they focused on Art History, History of Polish Printmaking, and Polish Language. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Printmaking and Fine Arts from the Art Academy of Cincinnati, spanning from 1991 to 1994. Before their enrollment at the Art Academy, Julie Klear studied Fine Arts at The University of Toledo from 1989 to 1991.
