Annette Siksma

Annette Siksma, MSc, is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in nursing leadership and information technology integration, currently serving as the Chief Nursing Information Officer at Ziekenhuis St Jansdal since September 2002. In this role, Annette acts as a bridge between ICT and nursing practice. Annette has been an Ambassador for the nursing profession during the implementation of electronic patient records while actively participating in several advisory and innovation councils. With a strong background in cardiology nursing, Annette has expertise in optimizing care processes, implementing Evidence Based Practice, and training nursing staff on the use of electronic documentation systems. Additional roles include advising on professional development for V&VN and previous nursing positions in orthopedic care and various healthcare settings from 1991 to 2002. Annette holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and is currently pursuing further education at Eindhoven University of Technology.
