Zhuoqun Li began their career in 1998 as an Engineer in Fixed Line Networks for China Telecom Global. In 2001, they became the Team Leader at China Motion Telecom, overseeing the development of an Intelligent Network-based infrastructure to support the operation of a newly established Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO). In 2007, Li took on a Post-Doctoral Researcher role at Imperial College London. In 2008, they became a Senior System Engineer at Motorola. From 2011 to 2016, they were a Consultant at PA Consulting Group, providing Technical/Strategic Consulting for the ICT industry. Since 2016, Li has been the Founder and CEO of ZiFiSense, a "chip-to-cloud" LPWA (Low Power Wide Area) technology provider.
Zhuoqun Li began their educational journey in 1998 when they earned a B.Eng in Computer Science from Fuzhou University. Zhuoqun then pursued a M.Res in Network System Engineering from the University of Plymouth in 2002-2003. In 2004-2007, Li obtained a PhD in Mobile Computing from the University of Plymouth. Finally, they completed a Post-Doc in Wireless Sensor and Mobile Ad-hoc Networks at Imperial College London in 2007-2008.
