Danny Vargas

Danny Vargas has been working in the IT industry since 2006. Danny started their career as a Sales Associate at Old Navy in 2006. In 2008, Danny joined United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) as a Network Technician. In 2012, they worked as a Consultant at New York University Medical Center, where they addressed issues through Front Range helpdesk application, provided support for all NYUMC software, repaired machines for Mac and PC users, imaged and deployed over 100 new systems for staff, remapped all users through Active Directory and Apple Remote Desktop scripts, and performed maintenance via automated scripts. Additionally, Danny worked as a Mac Administrator/System Administrator at ALM Media, LLC. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Virtusa as a Senior Technical Consultant, where they documented, unracked, and reconnected all servers and network in San Francisco office move, was a key member in physical Data Center migration Project, had in-depth knowledge of AWS cloud services, migrated from on-premise Exchange to Gsuite for over 1000 mailboxes, and advised offshore helpdesk call center on best practices. Most recently, Danny has been working at Ziggle Tech, Inc. as a Cloud Architect, where they are implementing cloud security best practices, firewall rules, DB encryption, IAM, Cloud trail, Security Groups, encrypting data in transit and at rest using KMS and SSL, managing AWS infrastructure for various clients, and ensuring the security of all systems.

Danny Vargas obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from CUNY New York City College of Technology in 2012. In 2017, they obtained a Google Certified Associate - G Suite Administrator certification from Google. In 2019, they obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
