Stephen Fanjoy, FCMC

Stephen Fanjoy has over 30 years of experience in management consulting and executive leadership. Stephen began their career in 1989 as the President and Co-founder of Target Consulting Group, where they specialized in feasibility assessment, business plans, marketing plans, and strategic planning services. Stephen then moved on to SHL/MCI Systemhouse in 1995, where they served as Manager of the VISION* Solutions Group, directing the marketing, business development, sales support, media and analyst relations for the $20 million ISV business unit. In 1999, they joined Oracle as Executive Director, leading international business development and sales support for Oracle Spatial. In 2000, they became Director at Watchfire, a Goldman Sachs funded startup that is a leading provider of enterprise website management solutions. Stephen then served as President and founder of Vastor, a software startup developing an enterprise storage solution that virtualized unused PC and server disk capacity into a single logical drive. In 2007, they became President of Therapeutic Monitoring Systems, a clinical trial stage company developing and commercializing a novel point-of-care clinical decision support software platform. In 2011, they became CEO of Devera Logic Inc., a spin-out from the University of Ottawa and the Institute for Big Data Analytics at Dalhousie University. Stephen then served as Acting CEO of Health Parametrics Inc. in 2012. In 2021, they joined Zighra as Business Development. Since 2001, Stephen has also been President of Stephen Fanjoy Management Consulting, where they have played a leading role in vendor financing and sell-side acquisitions, including the sale of a mobile B2B software company, valued at 30X revenue, to a leading multinational vendor, the sale of a B2B company at 68% valuation premium, to a leading multinational vendor, the sale of an e-learning company at 40% valuation premium, and 100% cash flow based debt financing to acquire a B2B services company. Stephen has held various board and committee positions, both past and present.

Stephen Fanjoy is an Elected Fellow of the Institute of Certified Management Consultants of Ontario (FCMC) and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC). Stephen obtained their B. Commerce (Honours) from Dalhousie University, where they studied Business, Information Technology, Economics, and Philosophy. Stephen also holds a Certificate in Adult Education from Dalhousie University and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) elected to Fellow (FCMC) from the Institute of Certified Management Consultants of Ontario.
