Jorge Christian Gelso has a diverse and extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Jorge Christian started their career in 1984 with Aviation Career, gaining flight experience. Jorge Christian later worked as a Boeing 737 First Officer at Aerolineas Argentinas, flying various South American routes. In 2003, Gelso joined JetMagic Airlines as an Embraer 135/145 Captain and also contributed to the Flight Operations Department by creating digital tools to enhance flight performance and safety.
In 2004, Gelso became an A320 Captain at SilkAir, where they flew to various destinations in Southeast Asia, China, and India. During this time, they also took part in CRM and Human Factors programs, facilitating courses for Singapore Airlines. Gelso then moved on to Qatar Airways in 2007, operating as an Airbus 330 Captain for long-haul flights.
From 2010 to 2012, Gelso worked at Korean Air as an Airbus 330 Captain, gaining exposure to a new culture and further developing their communication and CRM abilities. Jorge Christian joined Scoot in 2012 as a B777 Captain, playing a crucial role in the success of the startup airline and establishing its reputation in the industry.
Gelso returned to Korean Air in 2013, this time as a B777/787 Captain, responsible for worldwide long-haul operations. Jorge Christian also took on additional roles within the company, including participating in the design and implementation of a Crew Resource Management training program and serving as a Line Operations Safety Audit observer and member of the Steering Committee.
Jorge Christian'smost recent role is at Zignar Technologies, where Gelso serves as the Chief Technology Officer. In this position, they lead the technical direction and manages a team of developers, utilizing project management methodologies like Agile and Scrum to effectively oversee remote teams.

Jorge Christian attended Colegio Leon XIII in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 1980 to 1985, where they received a Technician degree in Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical studies. Following this, from 1986 to 1990, they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Buenos Aires. Later, from 1992 to 1994, Jorge pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science at Concordia University.
