Desmond McNamara

Desmond McNamara has extensive work experience in risk management and financial services. Desmond is currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Zilch, starting in September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Risk Officer at DF Capital from May 2018 to February 2021. Desmond held various roles at Barclays Bank, including Chief Risk Officer of Barclaycard from May 2015 to July 2017. Desmond also served as the Chief Risk Officer of Barclays Investment Bank from March 2014 to November 2014. Desmond McNamara has been associated with Barclays since 2009, where they held positions such as Group Head of all Financial Risk and Group Head of Market Risk.
