Dave Ames

Dave Ames is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the shipping and logistics industry. Currently serving as the Managing Director at ZIM Integrated Shipping Services since October 2018, Ames previously held the position of Managing Director at CMA CGM Thailand from July 2017 to September 2018. Prior to that, Ames was the Country MD for Thailand at Linfox and served as the Executive VP of the Transport Group at Thoresen Thai Agencies, overseeing all transport-related activities. Additional leadership roles include being a Board Member at PetroLift, Chief Executive at Zuellig Pharma Korea, and President & GM at Metro Drug Inc. Ames began a career in APL, holding various positions from 1987 to 2003. Educational background includes a degree in Political Science from Northwestern University and further studies at INSEAD.
