Stas Pirogov

Stas Pirogov has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of IT and cybersecurity. Stas is currently working as an Infrastructure Cyber Security Team Lead at ZIM Integrated Shipping Services, where they have been since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Storage & Linux Admin at the same company from November 2020 to February 2021.

Before joining ZIM, Stas worked at Cellcom for a significant period from 2012 to 2020. Stas'sroles at Cellcom included Infrastructure Architect from November 2013 to April 2020, and System Specialist from January 2012 to November 2013. In these roles, they gained expertise in identity management, information security, and performance troubleshooting.

Earlier in their career, Stas worked at 013 Netvision from 1997 to 2011. Stas had various roles at Netvision, including Systems Engineer, UNIX Team Leader, System Manager, Webmaster, and Technical Support Representative. These roles allowed him to handle design and architecture of customer-facing systems, lead a team, migrate mail systems, build stable web hosting services, and provide technical support.

Stas Pirogov obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Haifa. Stas attended the university from 1995 to 2001.
