Thomas Weingartner

Thomas Weingartner currently serves as the Director of Financial Control at ZIM Integrated Shipping Services, overseeing US Cost and Revenue transaction processes and best practices since 2020. Previously, at Hapag Lloyd (Americas), LLC, from 2017 to 2020, Thomas held the position of Director Of Finance And Administration, managing Finance, Controlling, Credit Risk Management, Human Resources, and Facilities, achieving significant operational targets. As Chief Financial Officer at Hapag-Lloyd USA, LLC from 2015 to 2017, Thomas was responsible for full P&L and board functions. Thomas's earlier experience includes serving as Vice President Finance at CSAV Liner Shipping, where management of North American and Caribbean accounts receivable and credit activity was a key focus, and as Director of Finance at Societe Generale, facilitating budget control and compliance across various departments. Thomas holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Operations Management/Management Science from Pace University - Lubin School of Business.
