Tony Gárriz

Tony Gárriz is an experienced professional in the maritime and logistics industry, currently serving as the Regional Procurement Manager for the Americas, Canada, and Caribbean at ZIM Integrated Shipping Services since September 2007. With a strong background in procurement, Gárriz successfully manages significant operational sourcing and procurement for one of the world's largest container steamship lines, handling an annual budget of $712 million. Previous roles include serving as Safety Director at Federal Marine Terminals, Inc., Operations Officer at Inchcape Shipping Services, and General Manager at both SSA Marine and SVTI S.A., among others. Gárriz's early career included positions at Coastal Cargo Company, American Express Global Business Travel, and Continental Airlines, alongside service as a C-130 Aircraft Loadmaster in the US Air Force Reserve. Gárriz holds a degree from the University of South Alabama and has completed training with the Civil Air Patrol - US Air Force Auxiliary.
