Brendan Smith

Brendan Smith is an accomplished environmental professional currently serving as the Environmental Manager at Zimbali Estate Management Association (ZEMA) since May 2019, where responsibilities include managing flora, fauna, and sustainability, along with procurement and management of service providers. Prior experience includes a role as an Environmental Consultant at GCS (Pty) Ltd from October 2014 to April 2019, focusing on project proposals, tender submissions, environmental compliance, and serving as an Environmental Compliance Officer. Additionally, Brendan held the position of Environmental Officer for Ansaldo Energia S.p.A. and previously worked as an Environmental Consultant at BSO International from August 2011 to October 2014, conducting field work and site mapping. Brendan holds a BSocSci (Hons) degree in Environmental Management and Environmental Studies from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
