Shay Krauss

Shay Krauss has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Shay is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Zimit since 2021. Previously, from 2016 to 2021, Shay worked at ForwardLane Inc. as the VP of Engineering. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in raising funds and supporting the due diligence process. Shay built and mentored a team of 20 engineers and product managers, led the development of the ForwardLane product, and formulated a new product strategy utilizing Artificial Intelligence.

Prior to ForwardLane Inc., Shay worked at Markit as the Director of Software Development in 2015 and at Vitech Systems Group as a Senior Technical Lead from 2011 to 2015. Shay started their career at Amdocs Interactive, where they held the positions of Technical Program Manager from 2009 to 2011 and PSO Manager from 2005 to 2009. In these roles, Shay was responsible for solution design, scoping, and aligning business requirements with technical needs.

Before joining Amdocs, Shay worked at Software Resources Ltd., Israel as a Solutions Architect, where they focused on Java development, technical consulting, and solution architecture for enterprise applications integration. Additionally, they embarked on a motorcycle trip across India during a leave of absence in 2004.

Shay's early career includes a role as a Software Developer at CTB, where they converted systems, wrote interfaces for banking clients, and migrated legacy COBOL programs to Java. Shay also worked as a Software Developer at Software Resources Ltd., where they developed prototype systems for clients using various programming languages and tools. Notably, they developed a WAP system for cellular phones and a database synchronization solution.

Shay Krauss completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo between the years 2000 and 2003.
