John Kyle Mueller is a Principal Research Engineer at Zimmer Biomet since February 2013, focusing on product development, experiment design, functional testing, and project management for orthopaedic products. Prior experience includes consulting for the Center for Musculoskeletal Research at the University of Tennessee, and serving as a Research Associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where John developed a motion analysis system for lower leg prosthetic devices. As a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Musculoskeletal Research, John managed projects related to joint replacement evaluations and created mathematical models for device behavior predictions. John also played professionally in the NBL with the Wollongong Hawks and engaged in community outreach. John holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Marquette University.
