Michael J. Farrell

Michael "Mick" Farrell has served as the Chief Executive Officer of ResMed since March 2013, following a progression within the company that included roles such as President of the Americas and SVP of the Sleep Strategic Business Unit. With a foundational background in management and consulting, Mick began their career as a Process Engineer at BHP Billiton and later worked at Sanofi Genzyme and Arthur D. Little. Additionally, Mick is a board member at Zimmer Biomet, where responsibilities include chairing the Compensation & Management Development Committee. Mick holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering from UNSW.
