SVP, Group Creative Director at Zimmerman Advertising

Dan Gitlitz has been working in advertising and marketing for over 35 years. Dan started their career as a copywriter and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a partner and VP at Zimmerman, McGee, Rose, Gitlitz & Gray Advertising. In 1985, they joined Calandra Zimmerman & Howard Advertising as a copywriter and account executive. Dan moved to The Ad Team in 1996, where they served as creative director and ran the agency’s in-house post-production division. Dan then headed the creative department of The Ad Team’s sister agency, Team 2 Advertising. In 2000, they joined Zimmerman Advertising as SVP, Group Creative Director. During their career, they have conceptualized, presented and executed large-scale marketing campaigns for clients such as AutoNation, Miami Dolphins, MARS Music, Lennar Homes, South Florida Chevrolet Dealers, IBM Business-to-Business, Gulfstream Park Racetrack, Dania Jai Alai, Swiss Chalet and Clock Restaurants, and multiple automotive retailers.

Dan Gitlitz received their BS in Advertising from the College of Journalism & Communications at the University of Florida. Dan then attended Nova High School.

Dan Gitlitz reports to Michael Goldberg, CEO. They are on a team with Sonia Grunbaum - VP, Marketing, Chad Comunale - SVP, Automotive Division, and Jill Schneider - EVP, Retail Operations.
