Cliff Nicholson

Cliff Nicholson has a diverse work experience in the field of IT infrastructure and operations. Cliff started their career as a Lead Technical Services Specialist at GE Capital, where they received multiple management awards for their outstanding contribution. Cliff later became the Network Director, responsible for designing and deploying a global infrastructure to support Risk Management applications.

Moving forward, Nicholson joined NETiMAGE Network Solutions as a Senior Network Engineer & Team Leader. Cliff played a crucial role in analyzing, designing, integrating, configuring, and supporting IT systems for various industries, including fortune 500 companies, healthcare, non-profit organizations, and government facilities. Under their leadership, the team's technical competencies were tripled, resulting in a significant revenue increase.

Nicholson's next role was at Euro RSCG 4D, where they served as the Divisional CIO. Cliff developed and executed IT strategies, managed operations and infrastructure for a global marketing services division. Cliff successfully completed the restructuring and integration of 20 North American divisions and led the daily operations of 12 international offices.

After that, Nicholson worked at Photronics, Inc as the Corporate Director of IT. Cliff transformed the global IT infrastructure and operations of this high-tech manufacturer, establishing a global operating model. Cliff also led IT governance, compliance, and audit initiatives, and consolidated and relocated several high-security environments.

Subsequently, Nicholson joined Survey Sampling International as the Global Director of Information Technology Operations. Cliff architected and delivered a global IT service delivery organization, merging two companies and supporting global expansion. Cliff was responsible for the availability of global IT infrastructure, operations, cybersecurity, and end-user and application support.

Nicholson then joined Capsugel, where they held the role of Director of Global Technology Infrastructure. Cliff created a stand-alone global infrastructure and IT Service and Operations Management, supporting the carve-out and cutover from Pfizer. Cliff championed and led the design, implementation, and management of a global service delivery organization, accountable for various areas including voice and data networks, digital workplace, cybersecurity operations, and cloud services.

Finally, Nicholson worked as an IT Digital Workplace Services Consultant and later as a Director of IT Global Infrastructure at ZimVie. Cliff transitioned and restructured IT infrastructure services for the spin-off of publicly traded ZimVie Inc. Cliff built an internal IT staff and developed an operating model integrated with a Managed Service Provider (MSP) to achieve steady state within a short period of 5 months.
