Sonal Pai

Sonal Pai is a Digital Biology/Biotech Investor at First Spark Ventures, focusing on investments in breakthrough technologies in the Europe/UK/US ecosystems. Currently serving as the Women in BioCapital Lead at the Science Entrepreneur Club, Sonal leads initiatives to connect and empower women in the life sciences and healthcare investing community. As a Visiting Fellow at ZINC, support is provided to a cohort of founders addressing societal issues related to environmental health threats. Prior experience includes roles at Genentech, where strategic leadership was provided in commercial AI/ML implementation and omnichannel marketing, as well as diverse positions at Roche, NanoEar Corporation, BaroLac, and A*STAR. Sonal holds an MBA from Stanford University and has an educational background from Rice University and London Business School.
