David Hu

David Hu, MD is a psychiatrist and medical director specializing in general adult psychiatry and addiction medicine. David currently serves as the VP and Medical Director of Psychiatry at Zinnia Health.

Dr. Hu has over fifteen years of experience in the field of psychiatry. David began their career as an inpatient psychiatrist at Oakwood Center of the Palm Beaches in 2005. In 2012, they became the Medical Director of Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches. During their time there, they also served as a psychiatric consultant for Wellington Counseling Associates and Wellington Retreat.

In 2019, Dr. Hu joined INSPIRE RECOVERY as a medical consultant. David then transitioned to their current role at Zinnia Health in 2020. Throughout their career, Dr. Hu has helped countless patients recover from mental illness and addiction.

David Hu is a MD who studied medicine at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. David also has a BA in psychology from New York University. David is certified from the American Board of Preventative Medicine in addiction medicine and also has a certification from the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM) in addiction medicine. David is also certified from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. in psychiatry.
