Susan O'Connell, MBA, has over thirty years of work experience in a variety of roles. From 2022 to present, they have been working as a Sr. Systems Engineer for Zion Cloud Solutions. From 2017 to 2022, they worked as a Teacher of Computer Programming at Chesterton High School. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Director of Faith Formation at St. Teresa of Avila Student Center, where they were responsible for building, directing, managing, planning, and soliciting volunteers for programs to teach to all church family members. From 2001 to 2015, they worked as an IT Software Developer and Director of Program Management at CME Group, where they managed and directed multiple IT and legal projects/programs on both mainframe and distributed environments. Finally, from 1987 to 1990, they worked as a Classroom Teacher of Mathematics and Computer Programming at Andrean High School, where they were responsible for preparing lesson plans, teaching, evaluating, and grading for Algebra, Geometry, and BASIC programming classes, as well as coaching Junior Varsity softball and volleyball.
Susan O'Connell, MBA holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Computer Science and Mathematics from Clarke University, Graduate Credits in Mathematics from Western Illinois University, and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Valparaiso University. Additionally, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in February 2007.
