Aric Zion has a diverse work experience, beginning as the CEO of Zion & Zion since 2003. Aric concurrently worked as an Adjunct Professor at Arizona State University between August 2003 and December 2008. Prior to that, Aric served in an influential role as the Leader of Global Optical Networks Marketing at Nortel Networks, where they were responsible for product marketing in EMEA, U.S., and Japan for a $10 billion business unit from 1992 to January 2002.

Aric Zion pursued a PhD in Marketing from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed the Executive MBA program at Emory University - Goizueta Business School between 1996 and 1999. Aric also obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida from 1990 to 1992 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the same university from 1983 to 1988. In 1982, they briefly attended the University of Miami. Along with their educational background, Aric Zion has also obtained several certifications, including Design Thinking from Harvard University in September 2019, Design Thinking from Stanford University Graduate School of Education in 2017, Customer Focused Innovation from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2016, UX Certification from Nielsen Norman Group in June 2015, and Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google in September 2018.
