David E. Blackford

David E. Blackford is Executive Vice President of Zions Bancorporation and Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of California Bank & Trust. Blackford has held his current position since May 2001. He joined the company in 1998 and has been a member of California Bank & Trust's board of directors since that time. Prior to that, he was managing director of Real Estate Finance, executive vice president of the Orange County Division and managing director of the bank. He has many years of high-level banking experience, including serving as executive vice president and manager at Bank One, Southwestern Region. Blackford is a graduate of Williams College.
