Joseph Rust

Joseph Rust has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Joseph began their career in 1994 as a Web Designer with Peters and Company, where they stayed until 2000. In 1996, they joined the Zionsville Fire Department as a volunteer firefighter and EMT, eventually becoming the IT Director while still maintaining their role as a firefighter. In 2002, Joseph joined Zionsville Community Schools as the Systems Administration Supervisor, overseeing technology support for multiple locations and implementing various technological systems. Finally, in 2010, they became the Director of Information Technology for the Town of Zionsville.

Joseph Rust attended Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology from 1994 to 1997 and Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis from 1998 to 2008. There is no available information on the degrees or fields of study they pursued at these institutions. Joseph also holds a certification as a Remote Pilot in Part 107 SUAS from the Federal Aviation Administration, although the exact date of certification is unknown.
