Summary

The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for driving quality assurance/quality control activities in a software development and releases to the current production environment, focusing on testing customer facing applications on Ziosk devices which includes back end and FE applications. 

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the UX Engineers to test the layouts, menus, surveys and other UX assets to make sure they meet defined requirements.
  • Develop and maintain test cases for projects assigned
  • Work with the team to drive improvements and to automate testing methodologies
  • Continuous improvement: work with the team members to evaluate and update existing test cases and create new tests to achieve comprehensive test coverage
  • Utilizing advanced technical skills, new perspectives, and creative approaches, to address issues
  • Analyze trends to identify possible holes in testing, development, or process to improve quality
  • Implement methodology to support release over release improvement in quality and delivery

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance of both mobile and web solutions
  • Android UX testing experience.
  • Experience in testing Android devices.
  • Experience in testing Point of Sale and Payment systems.
  • Experience working with Jira and Atlassian tools
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Experience with Automation is a Plus.
