Maimi Niina

Maimi Niina's work experience begins in 2008 as a Knowledge Management & Competitive Intelligence Researcher and Oxfam Quebec Research Assistant at McGill University. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Knowledge Management Training Specialist at Atelier d'Intelligence Appliquée. Maimi then joined SAIC as a Knowledge Management Specialist from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, they became a Knowledge Management Officer at the U.S. Department of State. Maimi then joined Equifax in 2012 as a Senior Technical Consultant, and later held roles as a Senior Project Manager and Program Manager for Identity & Fraud Solutions. At Capital One, from 2018 to 2021, they served as a Program Manager for C4ML & Emerging Tech - Blockchain Tech, and later as a Machine Learning Product Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Product Manager II in Risk Decisioning at Zip Co, starting in 2021.

Maimi Niina has a diverse education history. Maimi obtained a Masters degree in MLIS Knowledge Management & IT Strategy from McGill University. In 2010, they pursued a CE Project Management degree at The George Washington University, specializing in Project Management. Maimi also studied Japanese Language and Literature at Kansai University of International Studies and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Studies & Japanese from the University of Florida. Additionally, they hold several certifications, including Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner, Certified SAFe® 4 Practitioner, and PMP from institutions such as Amazon Web Services, Scaled Agile, Inc., and the Project Management Institute, respectively. It is noted that Maimi has an interest in knowledge management, as they are a Certified Knowledge Management Professional from the Knowledge Management Institute. Maimi also has a certification in Security Plus from CompTIA.
