Daniel Haji is the managing partner at zipdragon ventures. Daniel has also held positions at SIMA Angaza, Redaptive, Inc., kWh Analytics, ENGIE, Rembrandt Venture Partners, and Gridium. Daniel was the CEO of Cleantech Group from June 2009 to January 2016.

Daniel Haji has a long history of experience in the energy industry. Daniel started their career at Cleantech Group, where they were the CEO for six and a half years. Daniel then went on to work at FotoNotes, a startup that was acquired by Google. After that, they worked at Gridium, a software company that provides energy data analytics to buildings. Daniel then spent a few years as a venture capitalist at Rembrandt Venture Partners and ENGIE, two firms that invest in energy technology companies. In January 2019, they became the director of the SIMA Angaza Distributor Finance Fund (DFF), which provides financing to distributors of Angaza Pay-As-You-Go solar products. Daniel left that position in February 2022 to become the managing partner at zipdragon ventures.

Daniel Haji attended Stanford University for their BS in engineering and Brown University for their MS in engineering. Daniel also attended Sidwell Friends for their schooling.
