Amir Shahatit

Amir Shahatit is a seasoned software engineer with experience in developing security protocols and automation solutions across various companies. Currently at Zip since December 2022, Amir has spearheaded the development of a developer security program and new multi-factor authentication options. Prior experience at Brex involved automating customer onboarding processes and creating access interfaces. At The Voleon Group, contributions included building an automated system for simulating deployment performances. Amir also held the position of Head Teaching Assistant at UC Berkeley's College of Engineering and worked as an edge computing researcher at Berkeley NetSys Lab. Earlier roles include internships at The Voleon Group and Intuit, and tutoring low-income students at CollegeSpring. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from New York University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
