Afsoon Afzal

Afsoon Afzal is a seasoned technical leader with extensive experience in autonomy validation and software engineering. Currently serving as the Technical Lead Manager of Autonomy Validation at Zipline since October 2023, Afsoon previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Nuro from June 2021 to September 2023. Academic contributions include a PhD in Computer Science and a Master of Science from Carnegie Mellon University, where Afsoon was also a Graduate Assistant from August 2015 to May 2021. Additional experience includes internships at Apple and ABB, focusing on software engineering and research, respectively.
