Daniel Grote

Daniel Grote is a Flight Test Operator at Zipline since June 2021, specializing in Durability and Reliability testing to support type certification with the FAA and validating new hardware and software on sUAS and ground systems. Daniel previously interned at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where responsibilities included creating interface requirements for the Heterodyne OH Lunar Miniature Spectrometer and assisting in electronics definition. Earlier experience as an Engineering Technician at SelectTech GeoSpatial involved building and testing UAS and using SolidWorks for designing components. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Unmanned Aircraft Systems and an Associate of Science in Aviation Maintenance from Lewis University, earned between 2016 and 2021.
